Monthly wrap up
Two months have passed since we went live and we are already doing 8 hrs of recording everyday in Ahmedabad. The good news is that we are opening our Bangalore chapter soon. We are currently busy setting up our resources in Bengalooru, which primarily includes, finding the right studio, exploring bands who believe in the philosophy of free music or simply people who would like to spend some free weekend hours coding or designing with us. So if you know of something that might help us, please write to us @ contact[At]tempostand.com. Our Bengalooru operations begin on end of July. Note that our Ahmedabad operations will continue.
Our online store is also underway and will be active soon. In our store you would be able to buy our albums, songs, or burn your own CDs. You can download the songs or have it delivered to your place :)
Ujj, who you might have heard on our podcasts, is travelling madly and meeting bands. He’s working like a Creative Commons agent without a paycheck. Incidentally, Ujj also writes for the great indian mutiny and he recently had a talk with Junoon, the sufi rock band from Pakistan. Watch out for the excerpts from that talk.
We are also crossing borders and getting in touch with bands of the subcontinent. Whirlwind, a band from Sri Lanka, has recently parked its music on tempostand.
