Each band is required to perform a Hindi song.
Registration: To register, visit Mantra Website

• The competition is open only to college students with a valid college I-card.
• Registrations are limited in number – Register soon. Registration will be complete only when you receive a confirmation call.
• If any slots are available after registrations end, then on-the-spot registration will take place at the venue during Mood Indigo.

Team Size: Maximum 8 members (At least 1 vocalist and 3 different instruments required (different guitars can be counted different), including one percussion instrument.)

Eliminations: Time Limit: 6-8 minutes (including setup and clearance time)

Semi Finals: Time Limit: 15 minutes (including setup and clearance time) One Original Composition is compulsory. A printout of the lyrics must be provided to the judges before the performance. No extra points for lyrics.

Finals: Time Limit: 20 minutes (including setup and clearance time)

• The songs should have Hindi lyrics, however, a rap/refrain etc. with English lyrics is allowed.

• Classical/semi classical numbers are not allowed.

• The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

• Obscenity of any kind is not allowed and will lead to immediate disqualification.

Judging Criteria: Synchronization, Individuality, Proper utilization of every instrument being played, Skills on instruments, Quality of vocals, Choice of song,Overall performance as a band.

Prizes:

First Prize: 20,000 INR
Second Prize: 12,000 INR
Third Prize: 7,000 INR
Winning bands get to perform in a Bollywood Movie by Sudhir Mishra Productions.
