Feel the rhythm and sway to the soulful music while the best college bands of the country pelt out the slickest and smoothest musical pieces, that will set the mood at the largest conglomeration of young talent: Mood-I.

If music is the food for your soul and you believe that you have it in you, what is required to set in a triad of emotions in your audience through your chords, strike the right note with your band at MANTRA 2007.

The ultimate glory at the end of the road: a chance to perform and enrapture an audience of over 10,000 in the Open Air Theatre, Mantra gives you the much needed launch pad to be spotted by the best in the industry. The finals of Mantra will see the top bands perform as an opening act for Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.

Oh, and did we tell you that the winner takes away 15K and also gets a chance to do a Video Album with Universal?!

Prizes:

The winners get Rs. 15,000 and a Video Album with Universal; the 1st runners up get Rs. 10,000, and the second runners up get Rs. 5,000. The band winning in the “Best Originals” category will receive a gift voucher.

Schedule:

Elims: 9 am to 4:30 pm, 26th December
Semis: 9 am to 11 am, 27th December
Finals: 6pm to 7:30 pm, 28th December
