Rhythm Valentine '09: Polling Closed!
The last two days saw a massive surge of activity on the site, with people not just commenting, but continuously listening to the tracks over and over again. There were numerous instances of TempoStand listeners hooked onto the Rhythm Valentine page all day. Based on the feedback, we have created a playlist of the shortlisted songs this time. So all you need to do is click once, sit back and let them play in the background.
We said 12, but there was no way we could have shortlisted only that many, without feeling guilty inside for unfairly eliminating some well-deserving entries. So, there you go, based on a humongous amount of feedback and our in-house judges' desire to remain guilt-free, 16 tracks have made it to the next round.
The RV16, as we call them, in no particular order:
But its far from over. Because this is where it gets tough, and you get going!
Starting today, people can vote for their favourite amongst these 16. TempoStand artists of course are requested to login and vote, because for the first time, in this event an artist vote will be given a separate weightage than that of a listener or a fan. Voting closes on February 13 mignight. Time for artist 'Street Teams' to get busy again!
Now for the BIG question! Who is the judge?! Mr. Gaurav Dayal, the reknowned music director of films like "Sorry Bhai", "Aetbaar" etc., will adjudge the tracks for Rhythm Valentine '09.
The finalists will be decided by a weighted combination of the three factors, with a 50% say of Mr. Gaurav Dayal, 30% for the general votes, and 20% role of TempoStand artists.
So let's see who garners the maximum votes!

RV '09 Judge
Gaurav Dayal is the reknowned music director of films like "Sorry Bhai", "Aetbaar" etc, He started from a pop background. He did a couple of hits - Jasbir Jassi's 'Dil Le Gayee Kudi'. He also gave Mika, his career uplifting hit 'Gabru'.
