About the song: Within me is about Fantasy and getting away from the earth to the outer space. The song, originally called Within you was renamed to Within me, when the band played it at the freedom Jam, pondicherry. During the recording of the song, Amrit added indian classical vocals and it was re-mixed and remastered to give birth to another version called “The Reprise”.

why to ruin such a beautiful song with intermixing of two totally different styles of music. A brave effort, i should say and i was looking forward to listening to it.
But, what ruined this song for me, was the fact that both the vocal tracks are on the same volume level. So, it gives a feeling that both of them are fighting it out to get heard.. sometimes, one can listen only the english vocals and sometimes they are overpowered by the classical vocals.. both of the vocals are lovely in itself.. but they ruin the song when used together… and that too in the same volume level!!!
i liked the nice change from english vocals to classical ones at around 1:37 which lasted for like 7-8 seconds.. the best part about this section was that only classical vocals were there and they sounded lovely.. otherwise the listener keeps on figuring it out what the lyrics are.. and the high volume levels of classical ruin it totally..
