i still remember the day when we recorded this song !!!
well … i was on ma way 2 hyderabad for an interview .. i called up kamran bhai.. he said he will recieve me early morning in the bus stand as i was going by bus …midnight at 2pm i guess he called me and asked me where did i reach…and there was a small conversation .. he asked me 2 call him as soon as i reach there … by 4A.M i reached hyderabad and hehehehe
i still cant forget that moment …
so i reached the bus stand and called kamran … u know guys .. he didnt lift the call .. i called him continuosly for one hour !!!!
he didnt lift the call ….
i was fixed that he might be slept and made a move 2 my frnds house as i was having interview in “DELL” company … before catching an auto also i gave a call 2 kamran … but …….:P:P:P
hmmm .. i attended the interview at 11am… and came back by 11:15 hehehehe as i got rejeceted very soon …

and then at 12:30 i got a call from a number ….

i lifted the call and heard a big story from kamran bhai !!!
he was like ..
“hello .. yaar sorry yaar i dnt know when i slept am really sorry where r u now .. ??? how abt the interview and all !!!! i said i got rejected and iam starting from there now … and then met “grt” kamran bhai whole gave me a warm welcome 2 hyderabad …. and took me 2 the studio !!!!
guys that was the first time i was going 2 a studio!!!
where i met “naresh anna ”
they were recording tanha …..
i liked the track and the compostion very much … had a lot of fun with kamran bhai and naresh anna … !!!
guys u rock .. !!!!
and kamran made me 2 sing additional vocals in the studio which was a good experience with him ….
the way he guides 2 sing in the studio is very nice and ofcourse he is a very good singer … not only kamran .. naresh anna … is also a very good singer …!!!!
finally i want 2 say one thing .. “naresh anna ” the song is superb and i had gud time with u !!!

Looks like a timepass number made just for fun.Kamran’s vocals have absolutely mudered the song, maybe you forgot to press the pitch correction button man. It was a very careless effort from the singing point of view.
Composing – tune is good but wasn’t rendered properly hence couldn’t get the feel.
Arrangement: Feels very kamranish!!, it might be ok for this song coz kamran did the programming, but Naresh, you have to be careful to find your originality, show what you can offer.
Meaning, except the tune its hard to see any other input.Though u used kamran, u have to make sure u get something different from him, this will help kamran also realize some new things abt his style and you can get ur song in how u visualized it.

I am responding very late. Naresh, Your composition is very good. Your style is changed from your previous compositions & the final output is very nice. Kamran singing is absolutely fine and his voice is very much similar to Aatif Aslam in this particular song I feel

Vocals: 1) At some points, vocal is out of scale. 2) I will keep vocals in the original way and will not process like this as texture of vocal is dying because of additional processing.
2) At some points, vocal level is very low as compared to other places. It misses the consistency. You might want to use automation features of Nuendo. It is really good.
Arrangement: 1) Pads are overpowering. You guys might want to be little careful of overusing pads. Atmosphere VSTi is indeed very good. I heard that Rahman too use it often as it is industry standard for Pads. Pads indeed creates very good ambience but it can kill other things in the songs if not used judiciously.
2) Beginning is really good with guitar for arpeggios. However, I believe you could have taken another instrument for main lead with bit of variation.
3) I do not see any issues with percussions. It looks good.
Overall: I will say that this tune make sense as a scratch recording. However, you might want to redo everything if you plan to take it ahead.
