naye saal ki yeh nai kahani bohot achchhi hai….u’ve hit the bull’s eye as far as simplicity is concerned….going by the slightly faster tempo of the song, it seems as if u first composed it n then remixed it to create the final version…..n the changed texture of yur voice adds ‘tadka’ to the otherwise simple song…..way to go dude!! For what I got from the lyrics, I like the message of hope and enthusiasm expressed by the song… and you did well to sing your own song to stress its core message that is your personal outlook on life as well…
It’s great that you made all this by yourself, trying your hand at using also new electronic tools, thus enriching your musical “experimentation” without loosing your unmistakable touch.

Hmm..Good news is that its different from ur earlier works, has a very good melody and a lot of new stuff, like vocal stutters etc.You’ve definitely grown as an artist with this song man.
Ok..the bad
1. Ur fascination to synth sounds, they are ur central theme everytime. They’re not that bad if you can find a balance in ur mix.The beats are really tiny and have no accent.It seems that all sounds are stuffed within a certain frequency range and are competing for space.
2. Your voice is just cutting thru the mix in a really bad way. Its very distrubing and unbearable. The echoed voice is right next to the main vocal which makes it hard to concentrate and listen.try to spread it around.
All in all, the mix is taking a really good song down, making it feel like a bad local remix of a good original song.
Its like how the auto-rikshaw wallas increase the treable just to listen only to the bells and whistles in the song and feel the’re listening to an expensive music system.
Try to assign each sound its own space.
I guess rahman explained it the best, songs should be like looking at a photograph, u know exactly who is on the right, left and center.
If u can mix objectively u can go a long way man.

Bro the track feels very nice when it started with the bit of hum which is comin awesome. Could u check the pad or the chord which supports the baseline at the start of the lyrics. I hope it is out of scale. I think that isnt givin a good feel. it can be heard through out ur song.
