Lyrics:
Everyday we close our eyes
Pretending we don’t live in a fallen world
Everyday we keep ourselves
Away from what might cause us pain
Everywhere burning hope
Our dreams being caught in the blaze
Worldly possessions and displays
Are all just means to confuse us all
Chorus
Somewhere better
We’ll be safe forever
Everyday the end we know
Is coming closer
Everyday we all witness
Our ways that have taken its turn
All is lost, sparing none
In our race to achieve greatness
Not the first and wont be the last
But still the one to blame
Chorus
Somewhere better
We’ll be safe forever
Somewhere better
We might have realized
Somewhere better
We’ll be safe forever
Somewhere better
We might have saved

wonderful work guys. Only thing I would love to see. I would like Metallica frontman James Hetfield to lend his voice for this song. I would suggest vocalist to impart some depth in the singing. To be frank, vocal needs to do add more depth and good display of energy. Rest is wonderful.
But overall good work.

Manoj i respectfully disagree, i think the vocalist has done a good job here and in the rest of the compositions as well. The energy and depth of the vocals are in sync with the compositions and the lyrics.
I think one of the backdrops of indian rock/metal is too many bands try to emulate foreign bands and lose their originality, and even we as listeners have gotten used to it.
Although its true that creativity builds on past, bands need to find their own sound. I must compliment Lucid Recess for their creativity and originality.
Good work guys

Hi Arjun, I never intended that we need to copy somebody. But when I was listening to the song that James names just came to my mind. I am in complete opinion of originals (this is what I also do). Also I did not meant that vocal is average. It is really good. But I thought putting little more depth (with getting low notes prominently and decorating little more ) would be bright idea. Certainly not defending my opinion. I truly appreciate talented people and like to be associated with them. Many thanks for your feedback.
I also agree that Lucid recess is really doing wonderful job. :)
Cheers !
