Artist: Chintan Buch
Genre : Hindi Pop/Rock
About the Song: Damn Damn is a pop/rock number which had been written based on the india-pakistan relations and it reflects the sentiments of a common man on this topic. It is a really fast number keeping in mind the energy generated by the mere thought of this seemingly everlasting enemity between the nations. It has a message to deliver, loud and clear and ends with a happy note of how peace can be attained and emphasizes the fact that all this is a creation of fickle devilish human mind.positive vibes of virtues such as Unison and peace are impersonated in the song!

Lyrics:
Kya hain yeh mohabbat ?
Kya hoti hain nafrat ?
Kyon hoti hain sarhad ?
paapi insaan ke deemag ki shararat..
Kya amar , kya akbar ?
Kya bhakti , kya inayat ?
Kyon hota hain mazhab ?
Paapi insaan ke deemag ki shararat ..
Damn damn damn damn (4)
Kyon karte hain zillat ?
Kyon na de hum izzat ?
Kyon na milke bane hum taakat ?
Paapi insaan ke deemag ki shararat ..
Pyar har jagaah chayegaa ..
Aasmaan khushi se jagmayegaa,
Milkar hum , banenge ek
Paapi insaan ki nahi hain hukumat ..

Chintan: Very good indeed. Watch for the transitions between phrases they tend to appear slightly staccato (set together). Also let your vocals come through when balancing the music levels. Consider dropping the scale a note so that your voice doesn’t sound torn in the high notes — unless you intended it that way (as a complaint registered in the song.) At times it appears that the music overpowers your lyrics. Crescendo power pieces are nice. Way to go.

hmm …. yeah .. i did talk to my guitar sir who’s guiding me on this recording thing about the vocals .he has put in the harmonic effect on my vocals ..that is since it was just me and had no chorus , this effect gives a feel that many people are singing togather ..i did talk to him about the removing this effect and all so , he was like .. it is always given in rock compositions and all the western numbers have it … unlike hindi songs and few artists like enrique ,bryan adams, celiene dion etc etc, where the voice overtakes .. but we finally reached the conclusion that we will , increase the vocal volume level next time we go to the studio..so that should make it allright …i wanted percussion in the transitions but had to make a few compromises on that due to certain reasons ..so that’s there ..thanks for pointing these flaws out …i’ll get them set right … :)
love to aanal bhabhi n ishaan ,
