About the song: The song “Awarapan” originated when I was in internship and a kind of uncertainity was prevailing regarding what would happen in pre-pg exams, where will life take me to, which branch will I get in pg, will destiny keep me with my best friend Jitu or we will have to go to different places and sometimes used to get caught in philosophical thinking like purpose of life and so on…so came the song and we used to hum it whenever thought about love, friendships, destiny and this beautiful journey called life.
I composed and arranged the song on my synthesizer and added vocals to it and did the final processing and editing on my mini home studio in my room only in the hostel.
Well I wish to dedicate the song to Naman, Gaurav, Ujjwal from TempoStand, guys who listened to the awarapan in yourself and came out with such a different vision; and to all my family members, mommy, bhaiyaji, bhaiya, bhabhi, didi, jiju, harsh, shikha soham, for their unconditional love and support, Jitu and his family, Sir James and all my friends.

great song with lyrics n voice itself revealing the depth of song. Its really diffrent as uncertanities in life are given very good words n this shows that how hard u wud have tried to pull out the words from ur inner self n synchronise them with ur voice n touching music.Iamm very happy to listen u as i have seen u sitting hours to compose n write wish u a great sucess

fantabulous work.. beautiful lyrix, reflecting lotsa youngsters life.. and very sweet and pleasing music, esp the start and a nice change of pace in between..
if this is wat u can come up with jus a synth and without any supporting instruments, then m eagerly waiting for ur in-studio performance..

Amazing start. Soothing score. The all-round effort of yours is evident through the lyrics, music and of course in your voice. I am no expert in music and am sure lots of novices like me would appreciate this piece. Kudos!!!
But yes, the song is long and your voice strength gets lost in mixing and am sure studio processing would make it sound much stronger and appealing.
But brilliant effort with your In-house studio.
Would love to hear such good music in Hindi which is absent for a long time.

hey doc, nice song again, beautiful lyrics, loved the way you presented it..
well butI have some complaints… I just heard ur composition “yadein”..
I dun hav knowledge of music, but in this song, in the starting music, the guitar sound( the voice of guitar, or what ever u say tht) seemed to be a bit low, it was a sort of peculiar and was a kinda requiring concentration to hear whts goin on, but in rest of the song it was prominent..
This was my opinion on tht, xcept the starting one, ur song was pretty good
