“Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.”
    - Victor Hugo

Psychedelic form is a modern expression which is always under debate (for the reason that it is modern), for an analogy, only could compare a psychedelic music expression to some modern painting expressions.

On the day of Independence, my mind was really a mixture of various moods; happiness, felt sad for our pathetic Independence which really exists in very few quarters…..let me stop here; it would be a foolish attempt to explain a music in words, read the quote in first para again.

Psychedelic music has its roots have been used to express socio-politico aspects of human life; IMO, music is the finest form of subtle expression, this is one of the reason I produce instrumental though I am a singer basically.

    Peiysh,

Glad you like my adventure in modern music LOL; Btw…we were little worried as we were not seeing you around for while, especially during the event.

  4. I dont understand your music, and i dont know if its a good thing or a bad thing for me. I tried to analyze why,
    1. Your music is unconventional, different – Good in a way
    2. I dont know who you are as an artist. Meaning, what are you trying to acheive, if the intent of your music is to experiment, then you get all the applause for it, if the intent is to connect with an emotion, i couldn’t feel any in most of your pieces.

What i truly believe and nothing related to you is
A great musician cannot automatically become a great composer.Composing is more to do with imagination/ideas and emotions i think.

Just wanted to share my thoughts.
    Good luck.

    Point Blank,

First of all, thanks for your insightful review

    I don’t understand whether you speak about my musicianship in general or about this particular track..So have no idea to give you any comment;

If you speak in general and you know all of my work at all places, then I don’t have a say as I respect your opinion as opinions must be respected.

    Glad to ready

Stay in touch; Thanks for sharing your thought

Forgot to ask you..are you a native Indian; I am strong believer of roots; May be that’s why I often fail to appreciate R&B, Hiphop, …believe me when I first read “soul” I dld laugh myself till I read the history

I was speaking in general abt the tracks you have on tempostand.I dont know your background/your earlier works/etc..i guess it helps in a good way that my judgement is not skewed and i’m only seeing the final works. It’s bad in a way because its like someone listening to rahman’s jai ho, and thinking thats the only thing he can do.That’s exactly why i said i dont know who you are as an artist.
Your roots statement is very interesting.IMO(in my opinion) it depends on one’s exposure, one’s mindset, and things with which he tries to connect to, which will give anyone their aquired tastes/sensibilities/styles.I try to have my heart and mind open to all things and let them flow through me to see if i can get any emotion. So, If i’m not connecting to any music/genres/tracks its because i dont find the things that i look for, which will help me have an emotional connection with the song.
This is the simplest way i can explain this.

Nevertheless, good talk man and hope you achieve all that you want to.
