Its been 4 months and we have enjoyed discovering music a lot. More encouraging has been the acceptance of creative commons philosophy amongst the immensely talented indendent musicians of our country. Your constant encouragement to the artists keeps them going and everytime a person discovers the independent music world from our site, it gives us satisfaction beyond compare.

So heres what we are going to do now, we have compiled a list of top 10 most heard songs on tempostand for the past four months. We are calling it the Independent Music Chart (IMC v 1.0), we aim to update this chart monthly (or may be we’ll just do it daily!) . Just so you know, IMC is your property, we do not have a panel of fifteen people who meet once a week in a conference room and decide on who’s on top. Like someone once said, fifteen people in a room is just twenty cups of coffees and some biscuits.

IMC is you telling us who’s high on the tempo.

1. On the top of the chart is Sifar. It is by far the most played song on tempostand.

2. Second in the list is the beautiful thumri, Tanha Tanha, from the album Lights.
