How things get started here
Well life’s been pretty hectic at work for us for the last two months. Credit to that goes to the event Tadka Maar Ke! and some other stuff we’ve been doing on the side to keep things from getting things boring. Some people have written to us regarding features they would like us to implement, events they would like us to organize and in general venturing into genres of music exclusive to some regions. To be honest I think we’ve been very lucky when it comes to getting feedback from our users and artists. They (err.. You) have always treated tempostand as your own company and thats what has gotten it so far. Its only fair now that we tell you when do we decide to start pursuing an idea or a suggestion of a concept. It basically is a 4 step process:
1. Idea comes in. We discuss it over one of our weekly calls.
2. We respond to the idea sender our initial thoughts (this happens without exception. if you’ve ever written to us and we havent responded, please leave a comment, we take communication with our stake holders very very seriously)
3. If more than one of us are excited about the idea, we do a brainstorming session on it.
4. and if it gets even one more person excited about it during brainstorming, we decide to pursue it and then the dirty PM stuff of assigning people to it et al happens.
Some stuff like threaded responses to songs, allowing song entries of multiple languages for our events, getting honest feedback from judges, expert comments, came from our users. So we obviously look forward to hearing from you. Keep em coming!
PS: @deepakg ’s tweet informed us about the awesome coke studio live performances. Check it out, if you’re a semi classical or sufi music fan.
