Wehem is the first Hindi Rock band from Pune.
Wehem is -
rohit(vocals,lyrics,compositions,guitar,base) /
alok(key-boards) /
abhishek(vocals,bass guitar,guitar) /
akshay(drums). Support Wehem and support Hindi Rock, by joinin our community on orkut. Wehem actually means illusion, and that was the central theme/concept of our first couple of songs.
Band was formed in Dec 2005. all band members are from engg. background. Hindi rock was something which we all could relate to, and express ourselves through.
Some of our influences are :
from subcontinent - Mizraab, Junoon, A.R. Rehman, Indian Ocean, Fuzon, Shakti, Call.
Other - rock, metal, fusions. Actually... lots of 'em, cant list 'em all down.
