Sahil Sharma is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, composer and also one half of the band Aakarshan. His playing style is heavily influenced by classic rock, heavy metal and blues and old school house music. A devotee of Iron Maiden, Sahil also draws inspiration from musical giants such as Deep Purple, Dio, Pink Floyd, Queensyrche. As a guitarist and a vocalist he says, "All I want to do is have a little sing and play but while I am at it, I want to hold the audience in my palm and sing and play to each and everyone of them."
