Mephistopheles started in the year of 2007 Rising from the depths of visakhapatnam. Ajay, Shasank, Srichu, kranti met jayant, bhavishya [Bassist, Drummer]. Later We Got to know that All of us Are Childhood friends. We started jamming and playing covers mostly and within no time moved on to creating our own music. The band believes in creating original, raw, energetic music. Its Just Been an Year of forming and the first breakthrough which really helped Us lot Was The AR.REHMAN Statewide band Hunt auditions were the first time we had ever performed on stage. We Then Won the quater finals and reached the Semi's. Later even Took Part in Campus Rock.                                                                                                                           As far as the lyrics are concerned an other friend of ours called "Ranjan" came forward for being the lyricst and thats how things Started. The collaboration with the heavy 4 guitar BOlstering attack+drummer+explosive singer, The band never wishes to compromise in their music & go on Shredding, Screaming, grilling their mettle!. Our lyrics are not confined to any one subject and may be interpreted many different ways.                                                                                                                           The band's First Demo album, Word Of mephi, blends Kranti's looming howls with crashing guitar solos to create a disc overflowing with pulse-pounding scorchers.
