Karthik started as a lyricist and song writer. Already credited with lyrics for songs by Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chahaun, Sadhana Sargam, Mahalakshmi Iyer, Naresh Iyer, Zubeen garg and many others. Off late, Started working on own compositions and the track "Yaad Karo" is a part of it.
