    Welcome Vadodara's newest and only heavy metal band, FADE. FADE started out March 2007, without any real intent in the minds of the members. But the jam sessions slowly gave way to something much more concrete, and thus FADE was born. THe name FADE stems from a rejection of everything that the world takes for granted, the philosophy that everything changes, everything fades, and all one is left is an illusion to hold on to. And yet, the name FADE is an irony, for the band burst onto the local scene with a successful first show in Vadodara on May the 2nd, with Morbid Genesis opening. The event was also covered by Baroda Times. FADE plays a mix of the best classic heavy metal this side of the 80s, plus a range of other genres (everything from thrash to industrial), and their own originals. Fade is : Shantanu - Guitars (Lead and Rhythm), Paul - Bass, Jay - Drums, RJ - Vocals
