    "Meet 'Ek', a Bangalore based Hindi Rock/Fusion Band – Where music transcends boundaries & languages and has united them in their passionate persuit of the greatest creation ever , 'Music'. Shashank on Vocals, Avik on Bass, Aveer on Lead, Prabal on Drums and Bharath on Keys, all bred on different genres of music, nevertheless have set out together on this journey to spread their ideas to the masses through their music. Now, the band is composing some original music, primarily Hindi-Rock/fusion, backed by an eclectic mix of Hindi lyrics and songs sung with a tinge of Indian classical music. 'Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication' is what they believe in and with this sweet simplicity steeped in rich tones of Indian Classical Music, backed by western acoustics , they stormed their way into the national finals of RC Live organized by Radio City . They were declared as the winners of the south zone and were placed 3rd nationwide."
