Deinnovatives is the Rock Band from Chandigarh. No. of band members- 8, as follows: Nirdosh Sobti - lead guitar Namrata Sobti- bass Jaspal Saib- rythm guitar Vivek Jassal- drums Gagan Deep- vocals Neha Behl - vocals Goldy - sound engr. Samit Sharma- manager Genre- Heavy metal with Indian classical fusion past experiences- 1) did opening act for Celebrity bands Indian ocean and Parikrama after winning a gig among 14 local bands. 2) won Aranya Tech. fest ( rock gig, thapar college nov 2006) , got best lead guitarist, best bass guitarist, best drummer 3) performed as a guest band in hissar on 31st dec 2006 on the launch of a FM radio channel 104(Tarang) 4) won best lead guitarist at ISM dhanbad in 2006 5) won Saturnalia Thapar, Patiala rock gig in march 2006 6) won best band, lead vocalist and drummer at ism dhanbad in feb 2007 7) got shortlisted in final five bands at 'avalanche' rock competetion in delhi and also won the best lead guitarist award there 8) From among 18 other small gigs that took place in and around our region our band has won 14, along with best lead guitarist. our band is experimenting/innovating by fusing heavy metal with indian classical.
