    About

    The name 'Amor Loco' translates to 'Crazy Love' in English. This passionate band sprouts strongly from a core centered in the hearts of two songwriters transcending all time and borders, burning down to the pure essence of music.                                                                                                                           Their story began in 2004 in central Mexico where Mara Montiel de la Mora and Wade Reynolds met, fell in love, got married and started writing music. Their influences span the entire globe and their unique (sometimes even contradictory!) approaches to song writing fuel a fresh and often visceral synergy. "There are enough bands out there regurgitating roots, rock and folk music. We want to embody the spark you hear in music that drives people to play a song for generations!" says Wade.                                                                                                                           Now, living in rural Northern California they have slowly built a band of talented musicians, a following and are set for world touring and a higher volume of recorded music. "We have so much material to record and finally have a fully functioning studio. So, we plan to release four EP's this year and have already released the first one. Our sound has already changed after that recording so it will be exciting to see where the music takes us this year." Says Mara. Amor Loco, coming to a town near you..
