We are an online music portal in search for Original music. Please go through the following to get a brief idea as to what we do and what we are looking for.
What is Tempostand?
TempoStand is a platform that promotes Independent music in India.
What do we do?
TempoStand is out to hunt for original music talent. We promote Creativity and Originality.
What is our Objective?
TempoStand seeks to be a platform for all independent bands and solo artists in India who create original music.
What’s the catch?
The only condition being that your work needs to be Original.
What kind of Genre do we list on the site?
We are not specific to any genre. The more experimental the music, the more we love it. You can either host your already recorded songs on the website or can use our help to get them recorded.
How is your work protected?
Your music on TempoStand will be licensed under Creative Commons. This ensures that your music pieces are well-protected against theft and are not used by people without attribution.
What is Creative Commons?
Creative Commons is the biggest movement on the internet these days. You can get detailed information about creative commons at http://creativecommons.org/. They have a set of licenses catering to different ideologies. One such license we have used that is “Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 India”.
Is your music good enough to be published?
The only requirements for accepting music on Tempostand are: the Creative Commons license and an “audible” quality of the recording.
What are my obligations towards Tempostand?
You have neither obligation nor exclusivity with Tempostand. You can distribute your work where ever you want. You can do it here or by all other means that you find outside this site. At any time, you can unsubscribe from Tempostand and your music will be removed from the site.
What’s the popularity of Tempostand?
* In just 5 months we have visitors from around 1000 cities of the world and have become synonymous with Independent Music across the world.

My name is manoj kumar gohil. I have recently made a 1 minute PSA. I am planning to send it to disability film festival which will be held soon. I need some background music for the duration of 20-25 seconds. I can’t pay in terms of money, I made this PSA without any budget. I can only give the name in credit roll of the musician. my requirement is single instrument playing in the background like violine or any other you think best fit to this script. This background music will be played in the last scene of this PSA. On demand, I can also upload this movie on http://www.youtube.com so that you can understand well the requirement of this PSA. SYNOPSIS
This is the story of a 17 years old Sakit, who has been suffering from ‘Albinism’, a genetic disease. Due to this disability, his social as well as personal life has been suffering. When walks on the road, people stares at him in a very unusual way that not only bring inferiority in him but make him realize as if he is not a part of this society. People don’t want to accept him as a part of this society. When he travels in a bus, all the passengers stares at him with astonishment because of his different look. His disability has spoiled his entire life. He is alone, and doesn’t dare to play with other children. Before entering in a dhaba for having meal, he thinks a lot. Because other customers sitting in dhaba, leave their chairs and sits far from him and he sits alone.
Accept Me – Screenplay.
fade in:
Ext. a dhaba – day
Sakit is on the other side of road, and coming towards the dhaba. After completing his labour work from somewhere, he is coming to have his lunch in a dhaba. People are having their lunch, as soon as they look at him coming towards the dhaba, they stares at him making him realized very insulting. As soon as he enters the dhaba, they change their seats. He looks at them with pain silently but tolerates the insult as usual and sits beside a young lady having tea. She leaves her chair, as he sits closed to her. She stands up and goes outside the dhaba, taking her cup of tea. He looks at the camera, after being insulted.
EXT. BUS STOP – day.
He is standing at a bus stop waiting for the bus. Some other people are also standing there. A man is chewing pan and looking at him continuously and by mistake spit on the pan of other person standing their. He is also staring at Sakit and doesn’t know that somebody has spit on his pant. Sakit is standing with down head. He looks at the camera with a sad face having sorrow in his eyes. Bus comes, people take their bus but he is standing alone and doesn’t take the bus. He is looking very tensed.
EXT. play ground – day.
Somebody is throwing a ball towards the sky and catching it continuously targeting pittus set in front of him, in a dusty play ground. Sakit, enters the play ground, and put his hand on a shoulder of a player like a friend and in a hope, they will involve him in the game. But he throws his hand from his shoulders and neglects him and moves a bit in the playground looking at pitthus. Sakit is standing alone somewhere in the ground looking at putthus and that guy who is going to hit them with this torn ball which has some stitching opened. He throws the ball towards the pitthus, and pitthus gets spread on the floor. And ball moves to Sakit and stops itself nearer to his legs. He bends down to take the ball……….and looks at his its opened stitchings with wonder…….and then looks at pitthus spreading on the floor. Now playground is empty, he is standing alone there thinking about his destiny.
CUT TO:
EXT. dark room – night
He is sitting in a dark room, down head on table. He takes his head slowly with tears in his eyes and looks into the camera (ZOOM IN & CLOSE UP).

sir..i write, compose and sing original songs of my own..which are really melody to ears…but i dont play any instrument so my songs are without instrumental music in it..that is plain in my voice only…so i wanted to know am i eligible to upload my songs here..or its like compulsory to have instrumental music…..i think we dont have any space here in tempostand for such artists who smhow cannt include instrumental music…and at the same time i feel if given the space, it can showcase the talent of this kind of ilk to the bands or other composer who are in want of nice composition or voice or lyrics….so please think over it and reply soon…and i assure my songs are really worth to be on tempostand..thank u.

Hi, me and my brother are making some original music on our comps, we make our music totally using softwares, try to bring out natural sounds as much as possible, we also submitted a song in the “G3 music challenge” conducted by tempostand and seinheisser. I just joined this site. I wish to put our work here. We are also planning to submit a couple of entries to the valnetines day competition.

Great site, Interesting.I’m impressed.
I’m not a professional singer but has sang mainly western / English songs on stage.My voice range is somewhere between mezzo soprano and contralto. some say my voice suit more to experimental music when it comes to Indian songs.. And I have a few dubbing for radio plays and short films, again in English.
So if any one wants such a female voice for your project, do let me know.
